Weather for Weddings

Your own meteorologist for the big day.

From choosing the date to the last dance, we turn forecasts into clear calls: when to order the tent, whether to move the ceremony, when to step out for golden-hour portraits.

The closer the day, the sharper the forecast.

Months out, nobody can forecast your day, but the climate record can tell you what to expect. As the date gets closer, real forecasts take over. We use the right tool at each stage.

  1. Six months to a year out

Pick the date with the odds on your side

Rain chances by hour, heat, wind and storm history for your venue, compared across up to three dates. Plus sunset and golden-hour times.

  2. One month out

    Map every weather decision

With you and your planner, we list each call the weather could force, its deadline, and what would trigger it.

  3. Seven days out

Daily briefings with a clear recommendation

An hour-by-hour outlook for your timeline, how confident we are, and what to do next. Twice a day in the final three days.

  4. The day itself

A meteorologist on call or at your venue

Watching radar and lightning from setup to send-off, remotely or in person, and calling holds and all-clears with your planner so you never have to check your phone.

Every forecast ends in a decision.

A weather app says 40% chance of rain. We say whether to order the sidewalls by Tuesday. These are the calls we help couples make, and when they usually come due.

Brian Cizek, meteorologist

Your meteorologist

Brian Cizek is a launch weather officer. He forecasts for rocket launches from Florida’s Space Coast, where one lightning strike, a gust or the wrong cloud layer can scrub a mission, and every call comes with a countdown.

Launch forecasts are written against strict rules for lightning, wind and cloud, hour by hour and days ahead, then briefed to the people who make the go or no-go call. Your wedding deserves the same discipline: every forecast tied to a decision, with an honest read on how sure we are.

[X] years forecasting for space launch [and splashdown recovery] operations. [Degree, school.] [Certifications, if any.] Brian also trains new forecasters and meteorologists.

Questions couples ask

How far ahead can you really forecast?
Day-specific forecasts become useful about seven days out and sharpen every day after. Before that, we work from the climate record, which tells you the odds rather than the answer.
What if the forecast is wrong?
Every briefing says how confident we are, and we plan decisions with a margin for that. Weather can still surprise anyone, which is why a backup plan is part of every decision map.
Do you work with our planner and venue?
Yes. We build the decision map with your planner and send a vendor sheet to anyone who needs it. On the day, we make calls together with your planner.
Can you support a destination wedding?
Yes, remotely, anywhere. On-site support outside our travel area is available at cost for travel.
Is the Date Report a good gift?
It is one of our most popular engagement and shower gifts. Ask for a gift card when you get in touch.

Tell us the date. We'll tell you what the sky usually does.

We reply within two business days with a quick read on your date and the package that fits.
